Them’s the rules

Don’t worry, there aren't many rules so this won’t take long.

1. Vehicle (you’ll need one of them) Being a banger rally, any competing vehicle must cost less than £750 (€750)
   
   
2. You’re on your own. Once you have hit the road there is no formal assistance or back up whatsoever from the organisers. Teams are on their own all the way to Cape Town!
   
   
3. Raising bucket loads of cash. Each team is to raise a MINIMUM of £500 for the official rally charities. This can be achieved by fair means or foul...
