London to Cape Town banger rally

Possibly the greatest adventure on earth?

The Buffalo Run is the ultimate challenge, a bargain basement rally where teams drive themselves from London all the way down to Cape Town in cars that are at best “generally considered crap”.

With no fixed itinerary, and without back up, teams make their own way across two continents, two ridiculously hot deserts and several very high mountain ranges, on a 10,000km jaunt south in vehicles which are wholly unsuitable and over roads and terrain which can only politely be described as ‘questionable’.

There is no prize for the winner; in fact the only prize on offer is for the most ridiculous route taken.
